How you support our team
  • Conduct independent analyses and assessments of business processes to ensure security, regularity, and efficiency.

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks associated with business operations to strengthen organizational resilience.

  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, enhancing both the reliability and security of processes.

  • Optimize business processes and conduct comprehensive audits and assessments of the internal control system (ICS).

  • Periodically review financial calculations and budget projections to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Independently prepare detailed audit reports and present findings and recommendations, focusing on risk management outcomes and financial integrity.

What sets you apart
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.

  • Additional training in banking management or certification as an association auditor is preferred.

  • A minimum of four years’ experience in internal auditing, with a significant focus on financial institutions and budget management.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of business processes including purchasing, sales, and production.

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP systems.

  • Experience with audit software such as IDEA is a plus

  • Strong analytical and data technology skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Robust IT skills and experience working in a multicultural environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German considered a strong advantage.

  • Highly reliable with a proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Possesses social competence, is highly motivated, resilient, and shows a strong commitment to their role.

  • Knowledge of DIIR standards or interest in achieving CIA or DIIR internal auditor certification is desirable.
